Landon Baker | Director of Community Life, Discipleship & Formation
Landon was welcomed into the VFC community in 2017. He quickly joined the musical worship team, and was on staff as the office manager for a year. As the Director of Creative Arts, he desires to invest in the artisans, craftspeople, and creatives of all kinds in our community, and develop opportunities for experiential worship across a variety of creative mediums. He is thrilled to have the opportunity to partner with Vintage Faith Church in this way as we engage in the creative arts as worship of Jesus to reach those in Santa Cruz County.
A Santa Cruz native, he lives in Soquel with his lovely wife Sarah. They have one daughter, Jane Hosanna, who went to be with Jesus in April of 2020, and one son, Arthur Fermata, who went to be with Jesus in September of 2021. When he's not serving, you can find Landon reading some Tolkien, Lewis, or the current book that has piqued his interest, ideally after a long morning in the garden. He loves playing, talking about, and listening to a wide variety of music from all six periods and will try to learn any instrument he can find!
